I know that Railo/Lucee can read, but not write, the EXIF metadata for an
image. But for SEO purposes, writing appropriate metadata into images is
getting more important, and we need to start planning for it.
Does anyone have recommendations on libraries to write EXIF data?
So far, I’ve looked at Apache Commons Image, which will do just about
anything, but doesn’t appear to be that simple to use. Their example for
writing EXIF data was itself a thousand-line-or-so Java class.
I’ve also looked at ImageMetadata.cfc on RIAForge, which uses the ExifTool
Perl library. It looks promising.
I’m just wondering if anyone has experience or suggestions in this area?–
