Where can i find a good CFML/Lucee dev?

I’m looking for a local or remote cfml dev (or firm) to work on a couple
new features for my website on a contract basis. I have two medium sized
projects queued up with more to come. We’re looking for people in the US
so that we can communicate directly during business hours. If you are
interested please PM me. If you have a suggestion on where I can post this
opportunity and it will be seen by quality cfml devs, that would be great.
Or if anyone has experience or a recommendation for a particular cfml
development firm, that would be great too.

Also, I think that everyone here can agree that we would like to see Lucee
gain as much popularity and traction in the development community as
possible. In my opinion, part of the stigma about moving into cfml/lucee
is that it’s dying and there aren’t any cfml jobs or devs out there. My
idea is that if there were a place to post active job opportunities, it may
help to alleviate some of those concerns and show that there is activity in
the community.

Hey Jace,

I’d say the first place to look for firms that can help would be the
Lucee supporters list (http://lucee.org/supporters.html). Several companies
are represented there that do CFML/Lucee development (including mine,
Virtual Solutions Group </end shameless plug>).

Otherwise, there’s cf-jobs (whenever HOF comes back online) which is the
defacto list for both CFML developers and those seeking them. Ben Nadel has
a job listing feature on his site
(http://www.bennadel.com/jobs/web-development-jobs.htm) though charges a
small fee for listing them there. There are also job listings in all of the
CFML related LinkedIn groups.

I second having a job list tied into Lucee’s infrastructure somewhere
though.

Having said all that, give me a shout if you think I can be of help with
your projects.
