Updating Apache Tomcat

We need to update Apache Tomcat, but I am not sure which versions are compatible with ours or if it’s recommended to update our version of Lucee in order to patch the security issues in Apache Tomcat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Upgrade your OS as its end of life on 10/23 of this year.
Install a fresh new version of Lucee with the installer or manually install tomcat 9.x. As of writing Tomcat 9.0.73 is the latest version
Install the latest stable release of Lucee
Test your code,
make any code changes as needed
Migrate to the new Server
