I have installed lucee on Ubuntu Server 16.04, but I play with some extension and make a mistake, now lucee cannot start. I want to remove lucee to start a fresh installation.
I’ve try apt-get remove lucee… but it seems it’s not the name of the application. I cannot just run again the installation because installation port like 8888 is already taken by my old installation. Can someone help me ?
Thanks

In the lucee directory there should be an uninstall script you can run. The default directory I believe is /opt/lucee/

Yeah I just saw it before I read your post feel dummy this morning
Is there any more known instructions on this as I ran ./uninstall from the /opt/lucee directory (I am on Alma Linux 9) and it appeared to remove some stuff but I still see the Systemd service as well as tomcat?
The Lucee installer does not configure a systemd service, at least not yet (coming soon!) so that had to have been done manually. That is unless you meant the SysVinit boot launcher?
It would be best if you post a new topic and provide all of your environment details (using the template when creating a new support topic) and precisely how you have observed evidence of systemd service and Tomcat.
Examples:
Are you looking at files that weren’t deleted?
Running systemctl and other command line utilities?
And so on.
