Site not loading with localhost with too many redirects

Lucee-localhost-iis-error

After windows install on IIS - hosting the first page

  • localhost:8888 - works
  • localhost - doesn’t work
  • 127.0.0.1 - works

localhost is also not loading in the browser - earlier it was the default IIS page

127.0.0.1 is loading but with the below error

For the redirects: mod_cfml may be failing to create the context configurations automatically. You may need to add them manually.

Secondly The page that is loading with 127.0.0.1 is telling what to do! You just need to read the red warning block.
