Is it possible the setup Lucee to use a remote Lucene search server like and Adobe CF allows. Also can a Lucee server be setup as a remote Lucene search server in the same way as Adobe CF.
Exactly the same? No, no and no, and you wouldnt want it that way.
You install the extension, and then use the cfcollection tag.
As for remote access, again, you can do that many different ways, including just setting up the latest version and then using cfexecute or rolling your own query handler.
