Preserve datasources/PWs/certs during upgrade

When running an upgrade of Tomcat or Lucee, is there some method I can use
to save the old configuration. (Specifically datasources, passwords to the
Lucee managers, and certificates.) I’m not using a Lucee installer. I’m
using the Tomcat Windows installer, then I copy the lucee jars to the
Tomcat/lib folder.

When I run the Lucee server or web administrator, no password is set; no
datasources are set, and certificates aren’t installed.

I don’t have any trouble setting these things, as some others have
mentioned. I just find it a pain to have to set everything up again.

Thanks for any help you can provide,
Sarah

Are you coping over the lucee-server folder from the old Tomcat folders?
Most of the XML files that control datasources, certs, etc are inside of
the lucee-server folder. The per context stuff is under the WEB-INF for
each context unless you purposefully moved it somewhere else.

Sorry for the slow reply…just installed Tomcat upgrade today.

Copied the lucee-server folder and everything worked great.
