Packt OO CF book free for 24 hours

Hi all. Hope this isn’t considered misuse of this list since I’m not
associated with Packt or the title…

Just noticed that today’s giveaway from Packt is Matt Gifford’s Object
Oriented Programming in ColdFusion. I bought and read it a while back, it’s
a great book to add to the e-bookshelf if you haven’t already purchased it.
They’ve given away some decent non-cf books the past couple weeks, worth a
look:

Regards,

Mike

Same here. I have 2 copies of the hard book (one I used to keep at work and
one at home), and I grabbed the e-book as well. I’ve been following PackT’s
free learning books for the last couple of months and have tried to grab
each book as they change daily, even if it isn’t really something I’m
familiar with. You never know when you might find yourself wanting to read
about MediaWiki.

It’s definitely worth following, especially since it costs nothing. Most of
these books are at least a few years old, but they’re still pretty good
books. Yesterday’s was VirtualBox 3.1. Today’s is High Availability MySQL
Cookbook. Again, older info, but still good stuff.
