I tried to start a new topic by email, by sending it to lucee@googlegroups.com however I got the response from Google’s server that
it didn’t work, as follows:
We’re writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact (lucee)
may not exist, or you may not have permission to post messages to the
group. A few more details on why you weren’t able to post:
You might have spelled or formatted the group name incorrectly.*
The owner of the group may have removed this group.*
You may need to join the group before receiving permission to post.*
Also the emails from the group are coming from the posters email address,
so when hitting reply in my mail client the emails are going back to the
sender instead of the group, again I assume it is a setting that needs
changing.
Yes, that’s a group setting, and it should be changed immediately, it’s
super confusing and destructive to the communal train of thought otherwise.
It’s in group > Manage > Settings > Email > Post replies, change it to ‘To
the entire group’. (I manage another google group, been there done that.)On Mon, Feb 2, 2015 at 5:34 AM, Andrew Dixon <@Andrew_Dixon> wrote:
