Hi all, I am a bit confused on the issue of Lucee hosting.
I was excited to start using the open source Lucee over standard ColdFusion, but now that I have gotten the hang of it, why is Lucee hosting so EXPENSIVE? I was expecting it to be significantly cheaper than CF hosts, but it is in fact the exact opposite.

Hosting providers set their own prices, so your questions of pricing would probably be better directed at a specific hosting providers sales team. Personally, I don’t use CF specific hosting. My company deploys our Lucee servers on Docker swarm which we run atop standard Digital Ocean droplets. You could just get a standard VPS and toss Lucee on it too.
