Lucee Hosting

I know this question has been asked before, but times change and the choices available have improved.

I’m building a new website using Lucee and wondering where to host it. For reasons of GDPR it would be best if it was hosted in the UK or Europe.

Can anyone recommend a hosting service that supports Lucee in the UK?

Would I just be better off getting an AWS server or a Docker Server?

I had the exact GDPR concerns as you, wanted independency of big US tech companies, so I found this German provider to run classic dedicaded linux virtual servers on Ubuntu for a very low budget. It’s no managed hosting, but it’s an option to AWS, Digital Ocean and Co. Not wanting to switch back to Windows again, since I’ve learnt how to run Lucee on Ubuntu on those servers.
