I noticed in the updates area of the admin console the release of the Lucee 8 alpha.
Can you share any juicy tidbits about it, or is it too early still yet?

One of the headline changes is that lucee configuration is loaded is completely reworked, avoiding the full reload of configuration just to change one setting
There will be some more modern java stuff being taken advantage of, like virtual threads, scopedVakues
7.1 is also very close to RC, it’s leaner and meaner, faster, more scalable and more efficient! Try out the latest snapshot and let me know how you go

With 7.1.0.139-SNAPSHOT I get undefined tag cfftp and I don’t see an extension for ftp. That will come later?
