This build includes 33 fixes and improvements since 7.0.4, covering classloader stability, datasource pooling, Maven dependency handling, OSGi/extension reload, mail TLS, and several new language features (limitEvaluation, configMerge, AI passthrough). Lucee 6.2 / 7.0 latest upgrades not showing in the admin workaround

Since 6.2 and 7.0 Lucee retrieves the list of available updates from maven, rather than from the Lucee update server. Due to a hosting change with maven, we had to modify this process, as newer versions since 6.2.2.64-SNAPSHOT and 7.0.0.275-SNAPSHOT no longer show up as upgrade options from older versions of Lucee. This is only a problem when trying to upgrade via the admin, if you are upgrading via changing the base docker images, this is not a problem. The fix in is place since 7.0.0.303-SN…

From a security perspective, it’s important to stay update to date with the latest stable 6.2 or 7.0 releases.

Lucee Roadmap 2026

Lucee 6.2 LTS Lucee 6.2 is our new LTS release, with 5.4 LTS having reached the End of Life at the end of 2025. LTS means no new features, only critical important bug fixes and of course regressions. There are already major architectural changes in 7, especially for Java integration which will not be backported. As the next LTS will be Lucee 7, personally I would recommend jumping to 7.0 for any new upgrades, rather than 6.2, as there is a lot of nice stuff in 7.0 Lucee 7 Single mode / Jak…
