Liferay Portlet with Lucee?

Does anyone have any experience with creating a portlet for Liferay with
Lucee/Railo?
Since Liferay also runs on Tomcat and allow JSR 286 Java Portlets this
shouldn’t be undoable?
Thanks in advance for any info!

I have done this with ACF, there is builtin support for JSR168, JSR286 and
WSRP 1.0 in CF9+

On ACF there is a portlet abstract CFC that you extend to create your own
portlet in CFML. So it is certainly not undoable to have a portlet written
in CFML.–

Thanks Pete!
Yeah, I’ve seen blog posts (even though a few years old) where people have
done this with ACF.
But buying an ACF license just for a portlet wouldn’t make much sense, so I
was wondering if this is possible with Lucee as well and if anyone has had
success in doing so.On Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 7:30:23 PM UTC+2, Pete Freitag wrote:
