Hey folks:
At my company, XcooBee, we just published a tool for better GDPR compliant cookie life cycle management. We call it the cookie kit. It is meant to remove the headache of when to ask the user for consent and set cookies and deal with all user interaction.
It makes it easier to actually be compliant and offload the management to a library.
It also frees you from inventing this over and over again for each application your build.
It is, of course, open source (Apache 2.0).
