Docx files not working when creating a collection with cfindex / Lucene search

Hi there,
I’m trying to create a collection to search files with cfindex. I’m using the default Lucene search engine.
It doesn’t appear to work with docx files. Does anyone know a solution or work around for this?

Welcome! please always mention what versions you are using :slight_smile:

For Lucee 6.2 there’s a Lucene Search Extension 3.0.0.163-RC which bundles a much newer version of Lucene, try that?

We’re on Lucee 5.4.5.23 so i will see if i can update and add the newer version of Lucene.
