I tried to fix it a few times but I can’t figure out which markdown format to use
Maybe @Zackster can help us out.
Can’t we roll it back till it works again ?
added corrected gist.
Markdown requires consistency in spacing.
It’s still broken for me here; does it need to build and deploy or something ?
until the pull request is approved and then compiled and moved to docs, its not going to be fixed.
if you want to see the pull request, its here
Thanks @Terry_Whitney, that’s a great work!
@Terry_Whitney great work.
Unfortunately there is more broken in the docs for a while now. E.g. see Application.cfc Default Template
in Create an Application.cfc :: Lucee Documentation .Somehow the new markdown engine breaks code as markdown. Did dnt have the time to look deeper into it
Hi @andreas
I created a pull request that should correct the issue when the markdown compiler processes the page.
The number of lines per function or code group varied.
Thanks @Terry_Whitney Appreciate that really a lot!!!
@Terry_Whitney Well done with the fix!
Since the topic is still warm …
Those 2 pages need some love as well. Both render as expected within the GitHub preview.
-R
lol Why not--
@x999 both have been cleaned up. and are awaiting pull requests
thanks Terry, I just merged all your PRs
The underlying problem is our built in markdown support doesn’t support tables yet
I will as time permits over the next several month re-organize the docs, update formatting and write a few more modern tutorials.
if anyone sees any major broken items or would like to see something redone, Ill see what I can do.
You rock @Terry_Whitney! Great seeing you with all your work. I haven’t been able to do anything a good while with the community, but I always receive PR notifications to the docs: Seen all your clean ups the lasr days! Great work!
