Crap, crap, crap - Lucee install issues on production

I went through the steps to try to get a clean Lucee install after read a
thread on here. It hit an error during install “error copying file from
tomcat8w-win64.exe” and now I am in the weeds. I uninstalled and
installed again and now the server is restarting - not good.

I am porting over from railo and uninstalled railo deleted c:\railo and
deleted the web-inf folders and installed from the lucee installer.

Frustrated.

Remove the old install
Disable Uarc
Reboot
Make sure Java 8 developer is installed
Disable Antivirus
Download new binary
Install as normal. On Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 8:03:56 PM UTC-4, Chupp wrote:

Correct, Uarc = UAC.

I am the typo king in the morning.

Well I have done about 100 installs so far for lucee and this problem is
the first of its kind I have seen.

When you want to post greater detail I can help you, such as your
application log, event log, os, user account attempted, java version,
environment path.On Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 8:03:56 PM UTC-4, Chupp wrote:

Uarc = UAC right?

Doou think the issue was not having Java 8 developer, UAC or an antivirus
kicking in? I uninstalled the old version last night as I was trying to
install and no luck. Not sure what else could be preventing it.On Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 8:29:44 AM UTC-4, Terry Whitney wrote:

Now I get an error that there was a timeout while tomcat was attempting to
start.On Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 8:03:56 PM UTC-4, Chupp wrote:

Okay, I am going to give it another try. I think I might have had issues
with JAVA_HOME and the path variables. On Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 1:12:10 PM UTC-4, Terry Whitney wrote:
