Hi there,
After submitting a PR I was emailed from Github, telling me that there was a build failure after my PR.
As long as the tests, pass - is it OK for “me” to ignore build errors.
Are they are “known” thing?
Should I be trying to solve them?
Alert someone?
Thanks!
It depends! Check the previous GitHub action run on that branch
also, it’s great to include the error and a link to the PR when asking about an error
Initially,
(in my mind) I was “just” asking about policy, procedure… so it didn’t seem important to give details about the error…
Of course - however - some context is always useful!
AND - I found the rror is in BUILD in MY fork - (because it contains the YAML files, too) not in YOURS.
Gavin.
