Hi,
I have noticed that when Lucee updates automatically (I have it set to
stable releases only), some websites on my server can become unresponsive.
It happened this morning when we went to V4.5.2.018
It doesn’t seem to affect every context on the server, or completely
consistently but seems to affect the more intensive sites more than the
simple ones.
This is not a massive problem because I can restart the server quite
quickly, which resolves the problem, however, it would be useful if the
system could email me when an update is started \ ended
I could set up a script to check the version every 5 minutes, but may be an
issue if it has become unresponsive.
Does anyone know of a way that this notification could be done as part of
the actual update process?
Thanks
Hi Tim
My advice would be to not allow automatic updates.
There is a “manual” option on the Updates section of the server admin.
Cheers
