Railo 3.2 to?

Hello, I’ve been under a rock for a few years on other projects. I have a
site which has been running itself since 2010 with Railo 3.2. So I see
Railo is gone and thankfully Lucee is next gen CFML. So, what to do. I
can’t find anywhere I trust to download the 4.1 Railo to upgrade from 3.2
before doing a jar conversion to Lucee 4.5. 4.1 was a major upgrade from
3.2 so I don’t know if copying out the Lucee 4.5 jars is a good idea. Do I
start fresh with a new server and install Lucee 5.0? Thanks for any advice.

Hi Tim,

I think you could upgrade from Railo 3.2 to Lucee 4.5 and then from 4.5 to
5, however personally I would go with a fresh install of Lucee 5 TBH.

If you want to upgrade to Railo 4 first and go that route you can download
it via archive.org here:

Hope that helps.

Kind regards,

Andrew

I would go with a fresh install of Lucee 5. Get that up and running and do
some test. Once that is solid then move over you CFML code base. Will be
the cleanest why forward.
