Possible to setup a Cache Provider from Application.cfc?

Hi Folks,

I’m wondering if it is possible to setup a cache provider from
Application.cfc? I added one in the Lucee administrator and then exported
the Application.cfc from the administrator but nothing shows up except:

// cache
this.cache.object = “default”;

If it is not possible, then there is no way to use any of the cache
functions unless you go to the Lucee Administrator. Unless I am missing
something.–

Yes

ATM you can only instances defined in the admin, but it is planned to
support it the same way as you can do it today with datasources.
