My “ignorant” take was based on BoxLang’s website which maybe I skimmed too quickly, but I do not recall them making it as clear as you have how it is a brand new language. The code samples don’t look very much different at all.

You can’t blame Ortus for wanting to promote their products.
But… I thought that graphic was misleading too.
From my experience Luis, Brad, and the Ortus team are brilliant folks… And good people IMHO.
So I’d venture to say they will mind their Ps and Qs in the future. Like we all should.
