Hi Folks,
I’m trying to do some benchmarking of different filesystems for Lucee
development. (In particular, I’m investigating different ways of sharing
folders in Vagrant/VirtualBox, because my app is quite slow to start up the
first time.)
When Lucee(/Java) reads source files and classes, are files read all at
once (record size==file size) or are they read incrementally?
I’m running some iozone tests, and want to know if I can disregard read
data where the record size != file size.
Thanks,
Jamie
It’s now moot point, since I’m noticing a dramatic performance improvement
using NFS instead of VirtualBox’s shared folders:
Thanks,
