Lucee CFHTTP post encoding?

Hi,

I am having an issue where Lucee base64 encodes the body of cfhttp posts as
soon as they contains non ascii characters.

Everything works as expected when the post body contains only ASCII
characters:

As soon as the body contains non ascii characters (I added a é in there),
it looks like Lucee base64 encodes the body:

I am running Lucee5 on Debian and can reproduce this issue on a number of
services we post to.

Is there a way to instruct Lucee to not encode the body of the posts?

Thanks,
Jean

I got the URLs mixed up, sorry.

Works:

Does not work:

Using the cfhttp charset attribute (with a value of utf-8) leads to the
same results.

Thanks,

I am not sure if my issue was related:

Was fixed in release 5.0.1.29, see

Thanks very much Harry for your input, adding the mimetype attribute to the
cfhttpparam tag fixed my issue and save me a bunch of time !
