Lucee Admin Update Check Error

I have two installation with 5.1.0.34 (one on Linux and one on Windows)
both started (last couple of weeks) showing the error on the overview
screen where update notifications display

Failed to retrieve update information: Can’t cast Null value to value of
type [Array] value is null

This also is present on the Extension > Applications screen so no
manipulation/updating of extensions is possible through the web interface.
What would be the suggested way to reset my admin files to overcome this
minor glitch.

I see this is noted as a bug if full NULL support is enabled in the admin
