Issue with XmlSearch after update to 5.3.1.95

XmlSearch is returning empty arrays after update to 5.3.1.95 even though the correct elements are there. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

did you already open a ticket for this?
we need more details on this, an example would be perfect.
our XMLSearch testcase still passes otherwise we would never get a build in the first place:
